NYFW, DAY 2: FEELING WOMANLY IN DRESS
Oct 19th, 2018
As much as I wanted to look cool and have a different outfit for all of the runway shows, I decided to just wear a simple body-con dress on the second day of NYFW. I guess that was one of those days I didn’t want to wear something unique just to be different. Instead, I felt like showing off my body and being elegant. This dress is by a brand called “AIRFIELD“. I shared a story about my encounter with this brand in the previous unboxing video. Check it out if you are interested.
NYFW: ATTENDING FASHION MINGLING EVENT
Oct 15th, 2018
Aside from focusing on continuously improving my blog and attending fashion shows, I like to meet new people in the industry whenever the opportunity arises. Learning how other people get good at what they do and how they find inspiration helps me to find direction and inspiration to continue my own journey.
During NYFW, I managed to attend a fashion Mingling network event in-between runway shows. The event was organized by Fashion Mingle, with an intention to build a nationwide network for fashion professionals.
NYFW: DAY 1 POWER SUIT
Sep 25th, 2018
“Putting on formal clothes makes us feel powerful,” which was exactly how I felt when I wore this suit set to NYFW. The ‘power suit’ has become more than a trend nowadays; it is a movement. A woman in a suit to me shows strength, determination, and fearlessness. Who wouldn’t want to be part of this style movement?!

But with every dream, comes fears, obstacles, and above all, doubts; You’re throwing yourself into a new journey to learn about the latest trends and fashions, while trying to prove yourself and worthiness to be there, amongst the best of the best. We will talk about what I wore to this show in another post; but for now, let’s focus on The MKKM Experience show, which was truly special. (more…)

LONDON FASHION WEEK | FASHION FOR CONSERVATION
Mar 15th, 2018
Those of you who have read my previous post, know that I attended London Fashion Week a couple of weeks ago. London is my favorite city in Europe because of its food, fashion scene, and breathtaking architecture — not to mention I was there for Fashion Week, which adds another level of euphoria. I felt that all the cells of my body were awakened the moment I landed and couldn’t wait to get a glimpse and this season’s upcoming fashion trends.
Fashion for Conservation (FFC) was the first show I went to. It was founded by three women determined to make a positive impact on the world through conservation-inspired couture. They combined their talents and passions to create fashion campaigns that educate consumers on animals and ecosystems, while donating funds to wildlife groups — all while doing it in fashion (pun intended).
LONDON FASHION WEEK ’18 – DAY 1 OOTD
Mar 6th, 2018
Being able to go to London Fashion Week (LFW) has been a dream of mine. It is one of the goals I set when I first started Style Right. I have never thought I could achieve this goal at this early of a stage in my blogging career. However, I always believed that hard work and perseverance, no matter the obstacles, would always pay off – and it did for me.
