LONDON FASHION WEEK ’18 – DAY 2 OOTD
Mar 31st, 2018
I woke up feeling energized and refreshed on the second day of my London trip. My photographer and I decided on a change of scenery for our next photo shoot, so we took a trip to the English countryside.
I decided to go with a Moulin Rouge-inspired PINKO tulle evening dress, a completely different look and feel than the day before for London fashion week (click here for my post on the first night look).
Typically, I wouldn’t think this dress is my style. I might not even bother to try it on if I was shopping alone. However, the day I bought this dress a friend of mine insisted on me trying it on. When I walked out of the fitting room I was surprisingly wowed by how beautiful this dress looks on me… (Take away: you never know until you try!)
This dress really pulls out the feminine side of me. It softens my personality as well as my look. I love the layered ruffles with the Macramé lace trims which alternate to create movement on the legs. Accessorizing this look was a bit of an experiment, which by the way is a trait of mine – I am always up for trying things until I know it either works or doesn’t work. I wore this long black glass beads necklace across my body (like a crossbody bag). I have to say, it certainly adds a funky and fun element to the look, which I love!
Lastly, there have been some really exciting things happening in the last couple of weeks. I can’t wait to share them all with all of you, my dear stylerighters!
